“What The Emperor’s presence could mean: The Emperor’s royal guard is seen on either side of some sort of misty tank in the trailer, it follows that the Emperor himself is either in this chamber or not far behind. This makes me assume that we will be getting a nice expansion on Dark Side characters in the Star Wars universe. Will we get to see an Inquisitor (recently reintroduced in animated series Star Wars: Rebels)? Who is this mysterious cloaked and hooded character kneeling before the chamber? Or, will the figure be replaced by Darth Vader minus the hood (because Vader with a hood would be incredibly silly) in the final film? More Dark Side characters could mean more background on the origins of Supreme Leader Snoke and The Knights of Ren.
We get Darth Vader back: Darth Vader was this ominous monolith of fear and power in the original Star Wars trilogy, the Star Wars prequels stripped him down to a whiny brat who really doesn’t like sand (or sand people for that matter).
No, we don’t see Darth Vader in the trailer but we know he will have a presence in the film and the fact that his theme song is so heavily used at the very end suggests his presence will be a lot heavier then some have expected. I’m overjoyed at the chance to see Darth Vader just be Darth Vader again.
The World is diverse and women are 50% of the population, get over it: I didn’t even know a minority of people were upset about this until I read the comment section on YouTube and forums about there being a female lead (which we’ve know for a very long time).
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say the Star Wars universe’s human population is half women much like our own. So – and I’m no mathematician here – but it looks like there were six whole Star Wars movies with a male lead (Luke Skywalker and Anakin Skywalker) and so far just one movie with a female lead (Rey) in Star Wars: The Force Awakens…”
